PhD positions

Several sources of support for PhD fellowships in the Labex are available each year.  Interested students should contact their potential advisor.  See also the practical informations on the academic environment.

PhD fellowships via the cofund MathPhDinFrance

In 2024 and in 2025, some PhD fellowships will be available via the cofund MathPhDinFrance. The candidate should have stayed less than one year in the three years before February 2024. The thesis need to be co-supervised by one director in the Paris region and one outside the Paris region. See the website dedicated to this opportunity: https://mathphdinfrance.fr/

PhD fellowships via the laboratories

Each laboratory of the Labex has other sources of support, typically via the MSTIC doctoral school, ENPC, or research grants.

Previous PhD fellowships via the Bézout Labex

Every year, the Bézout Labex used to offer half a fellowship for students who wish to prepare a PhD in the laboratories of the Labex.  Priority was given to the students who work on a topic of interest from at least two of the three laboratories, or on one of the research areas of the Labex.  This half-fellowship was completed typically by the MSTIC doctoral school or by ENPC.  The application deadline was in May of each year.

Previous PhD fellowships via the DIM Math Innov

The DIM Math Innov does not exist anymore.

The DIM Math Innov has supported PhD fellowships in mathematics for the laboratories of its members in the Paris area for a few years, in particular the Bézout Labex.  The information is available here; the deadline is in May of each year.  The application is typically submitted by the applicant.
